YELVERTON Golf Club ladies took part in a consecutive two day medal competition played for the silver salver.

The salver was presented in 1934 and the runner-up trophy, The Harmer Rose Bowl. in 1960, by Mrs N Harmer, the ladies’ captain in 1960.

The winner was Liz Lyndon  of the silver salver, with a nett 149 and runner-up Sue Rumbold, with nett 150 claimed the Harmer Rose bowl.
