WORK to replace worn out road studs is due to take place on the A30 in the Whiddon Down area later this month.

To allow the work to take place, it will be necessary to close the road but this has been scheduled to take place overnight to reduce inconvenience to road users. A clearly signed diversion route will be in operation.

The work is scheduled as follows:

l Overnight (8pm–6am) November 25-26:

A30 closed westbound between Whiddon Down and Tongue End (nine kilometres). Westbound traffic should follow the diversion signs from Whiddon Down along the C50 to Sticklepath and back on to the A30 at Tongue End junction.

* Overnight (8pm-6am) November 26-27:

A30 closed eastbound between Whiddon Down and Woodleigh (nine kilometres). Eastbound traffic should follow the diversion signs from Whiddon Down along the C50 to Cheriton Bishop and back on to the A30 at Woodleigh Junction.
