MEADOWLANDS Leisure Centre in Tavistock is offering a free one-day taster swim session at its SwimSchool for children during February half term.

The taster session aims to give children a taster of learning to swim at the local leisure centre and learn some of the fundamental skills required for swimming

It takes place on Wednesday, February 15 from 9am-11am and also later on the same day between 5pm-7pm, it is exclusive to non-SwimSchool children.

Dave Smith, business manager at Meadowlands Leisure Centre, said: 'It is an exciting opportunity for local children.

'The session will be extremely fun and I'm sure the children will thoroughly enjoy it.'
