THE trials for the West Devon Team for this year's Devon Games to Inspire will soon be here!

Young people aged 8-18 who live in West Devon or attend a school in the area are eligible to be part.

Following on from last year's successful event, which was held in Okehampton, this year the festival styled sporting extravaganza will be held in Torbay on Sunday, July 14.

The event attracts more than 1,000 participants, competing in various sports to win points for their region.

The West Devon Team trials are now being held in a number of sports — badminton, boccia, bowls, cricket, golf, gymnastics, high-five, girls' netball, quickstick hockey, sailing, street sports, table cricket, table tennis, tennis and volleyball.
