TAVISTOCK Swim-ming Club members, parents and coaches celebrated their achievements of 2012 at its annual presentation evening which was held at the Tavy Club.

The swimmers were presented with their medals achieved at the club championships and a number of club trophies.

Medals: Long distance girls' 14/U Sarah Teague, boys' 14/U Gavin Ball; girls' 15/O Kathryn Stacey, boys' 15/O Matt Edwards; 400m Freestyle Cup girls Kathryn Stacey, boys Matt Edwards; short distance girls' 10/U Emily France, boys' 10/U James Meredith; girls' 12/U Jessamy Clemens, boys' 12/U Jake France; girls 14/U Emily Attfield, boys' 14/U Gavin Ball; girls' 16/U Izzy Teague, boys' 16/U Kieran Rookes; girls' 17/O Kathryn Stacey, boys' 17/O Matt Edwards.

Trophies awarded by the coaches included: best junior club swimmer Jemma Ninnis; best senior club swimmer, Alex Francis; best junior girl Jessamy Clemens; best junior boy Jake France; most improved junior swimmer Luke Stephens; most improved senior swimmer James Anderson; open water Gareth Williams; best in training Emily France; best squad swimmer Matt Edwards; best relay team, men's open Matt Edwards, Kieran Rookes, Nathaniel Rookes and Gareth Williams; best overall swimmer Kieran Rookes; most worthy swimmer Izzy Teague; swimmers' own choice (girl) Izzy Teague, (boy) Mike Best and Nathaniel Rookes; coaches' choice Harry Thompson.
