Despite pressure from the Okehampton forwards, the Tavistock backs and forwards linked well for open side Will Gardner to scamper in for his teams second try. George Hillson converted.

The game was reduced to ten a-side, which meant a difficult task for Okehampton on a full sized pitch against a side with plenty of pace to use out wide. To Oke's credit, they showed great spirit and commitment to grind out a tough win despite often being outpaced on the flanks.
The Oke pack was on top in the tight exchanges though, and they led at the half time break by 22-21. A predominantly defending game for Okes with some good tackling from Daichi, James and Imogen kept the score closer than it could have been but at half time it was 0-19 in the visitors' favour.
During the second half Okehampton continued their defence but during a lapse in Ivybridge's concentration James seized his chance, keeping the ball and drove for the line to score Oke's only try of the match. This was converted by George.
This seemed to ignite Okehampton but unfortunately a little too late as Ivybridge ran out winners.

The first game against Cheltenham again proved to be by far the stronger team, and although Mount House lost 7-43, they did score through Joe Beck.
The rest of our pool games were to be much closer. Mount House beat Sunninghill 7-5 against Sunninghill then lost narrowly to Highfield, and by a wider margin to Dumpton.
Mount House's final pool match ended in a 5-10 defeat to All Hallows, but Mount House scored the try of the tournament in this game, with a fine run the length of the field by Ed FitzGerald leading to a try by Marcus Watson.
