Exe ladies 3

Tavistock ladies’ firsts 1

WITH Exe already having promotion in the bag Tavistock knew this was going to be a tough game.

Tavistock knew they had nothing to lose and to give it their all. Exe opened up the score sheet early on in the game but the Reds reacted well and really kept composed throughout, with some superb link work through midfield to forward line Tavistock were unlucky not to get anything in the attacking D.

Exe were awarded a penalty flick which was kept out by a stunning save from Jackman.

Tavistock came back strong in the second half, and saw an eager Law in the attacking 25, who took the ball round the EXE defender and cleanly past the keeper on her reverse.

The visitors stayed strong throughout the half and kept the home side clear following countless saves from Tavistock player of the match Patterson and the rest of the backline.

Tavistock were unfortunate to concede two late goals in the second half and despite a positive team performance, they ended up with a 3-1 loss to a strong top of the league sideline.
