GUNNISLAKE took the game to table toppers Polperro and can feel an injustice at coming away losing to the odd goal in five.

The opening 20 minutes saw the two sides evenly matched though Gunnislake's Darren Benfield had his early effort saved at the near post and Harry Southcott headed just over.

Polperro took the lead after an error let Colin Wilson in for the first of his three goals. Matt Avery levelled for the away team who then went ahead through Benfield.

Joe Pulley at the heart of Gunnislake's defence retired through injury early in the second half and although the visitors were seemingly on top the home side showed their class to draw level. Mike King hit the post for Gunnislake but Polperro snatched the winner in off the post when Gunnislake failed to clear their lines

If Gunnislake cut out a few individual mistakes and actually have a bit of luck then the results will start to come.
