Tiffin Tourers
TAVISTOCK played its annual match against the Tiffin Invitational Touring Society on Sunday — which resulted in a thrilling match.
Tiffin batted first and Martin Williams scored a fine 61, Utheyousker contributed 75 and Ahmen and Subesinghe got half centuries at the end of the innings.
Young Dan Poole was the pick of the bowlers with 1-14.
Tavistock's reply was built around captain Jamie Stephens as he scored a magnificent 122 — his first century for the club.
Rob Milligan and Shaun Daymond kept the scoreboard ticking over but the last wicket fell with 19 still needed.
A special thanks was given to the tea ladies for providing the meals on the day.
