TAVISTOCK TAGB Tae Kwon-Do celebrated many medal-winning performances at the South West Championships, held in Paignton earlier this month.

Competing in a range of events the club came third in the overall medal table with a haul including four gold, six silver and four bronze awards!

Club instructor Will Paine, a third dan black belt, said that Tavistock's out-standing team spirit and support from families made it a thoroughly enjoyable event for all.

Individual successes included: Molly Bolding (gold patterns and silver sparring); Spencer Birch (silver patterns); Justine Hunt (bronze sparring); Tyler Hunt (bronze patterns, bronze sparring and silver team sparring); Esme Powell (gold sparring); Catherine Berna (gold patterns and silver sparring); Sophie Manton (silver sparring); Sophia Bos (silver sparring); Kaya Bos (gold team sparring) and Will Paine (bronze patterns).

The club congratulated also Anna and Dan Hunt, Steve Hunt, Michael Manton, and Callum Toms for excellent performances on the day.
