TAVISTOCK Swimming Club recently took two men's teams to compete in a four x 50m freestyle relay competition at Devonport Royal Swimming Association for the Mount Wise Trophy.

The resulting race between Devonport and the 'A' squad of Kieran Rookes, Nathaniel Rookes, Cameron McGurk and Gareth Williams was very close with just a finger-tip separating the two teams at the finish; unfortunately, for Tavistock SC, it was not in their favour.

Head coach James said that Tavistock will be back.

The second team of James Anderson, Harry Thompson, Luke Stephens and Gavin Ball also produced good swims to earn themselves third place.
