FOR some of the 15 members of Tavistock Swimming Club they competed at a long course meet for the first time when they travelled to Millfield School in Street, Somerset for the Three Towers level three long course competition.

All the swimmers produced excellent swims in the 83 events entered, with 70 long course personal best times achieved.

Fifteen medals were won by the swimmers, which included first places by Sarah Teague in the 12 year girls 50m breaststroke and Cameron McGurk in the boys 15 and over 50m butterfly. These swims were superbly supported by good swims from Gemma Arundel, Ben and Jessica Bowles, Jessamy Clemens, Harriet Edwards, Emily and Jake France, Alex and Amber Francis, Thane Garland-Tsirka, Chloe Marks, Luke Stephens and Izzy Teague.
