Tavistock Community Football Club ladies 5 Morley Rangers ladies 0 TAVISTOCK Ladies had been waiting for their final game since mid March due to the backlog of games due the weather. The home side started the game with great positivity as they wanted to end the season on a high and there was superb link play from all areas of the pitch. Robyn Hammond found space to hit a great ball onto the middle of 18 yard box to loft it over the keeper to put Tavistock into the lead. Morley made a break but Chelsea Starbuck for Tavistock put in a great tackle to stop Morley from doing any damage. Hammond swung in a great ball from a corner from which Sarah Martin put in a powerful header to the ball seeing Tavistock 2-0 up. Morley tried driving on through the left side but Lauren Schuttkacker put in a firm strong challenge to stop them. Becky Turner for Tavistock tracked back even though playing the striker role, winning the ball and then counter attacking quickly with some great pace. In the second half, Tavistock put some superb set pieces together. Donna Weeks sent in a great corner; from a Becky McMullin bicycle kick the ball went straight to Sarah Martin who despatched into the goal. There was also good link up play between Laura Phillips and Kirsty Jones on the left while Jessica Eales tackled to great effect. Becky Gordon then put Tavistock 4-0. Sarah Blowey made some great runs for Tavistock before Sarah Martin grabbed her third and her team's fifth. Morley put up a great fight but Tavistock simply played some outstanding football.
