TAVISTOCK Hockey Club men’s first team became Southern one league champions with a double victory at the weekend.

First they overwhelmed Old Plymouth Mannameadians 6-0 on Saturday to confirm their promotion. This was followed the next day with a superb 4-1 away to Bodmin.

So far this season they remain unbeaten in the league with 16 straight victories.
