MEMBERS of Tavistock Hockey Club played their annual club Christmas game on Saturday.

Beating the weather and playing a good fun game, Tavistock took the opportunity to wear off the excesses of the festive break and show an assortment of interesting head gear and clothing.

With a range of ages and people playing in different positions, the  game was a competitive and evenly balanced game. Goals were scored mostly by the first team keeper Matt Graham, who showed his prowess at striker, but player of the match went to George Bott for some dynamic skills.

The games start again with a mini tournament on January 10 and full season commencing on January 17.
