Bude A 6

TAVISTOCK really struggled to compete in this game and although had some good possession, never managed to fully control the game in the areas that were important.

Missing some key players in the midfield, the home side struggled to compete against a strong Bude side.

From the start Tavistock were under pressure and a goal was slotted in from a short corner.

The game generated some end to end play, with Honey driving up the right flank in acres of space, but the final touch in then D was missing. At times some good networking play was evident, but Tavistock did not play this format enough. Lethbridge at the back was continuously finding Andrews with some pin point passes, but Tavistock were isolated and could never really capitalise on the breaks.

Bude scored two more before the break, with the third coming seconds before the whistle.

The second half was much the same, with Bude controlling the possession but Tavistock having the some quick incisive attacks but struggling to get numbers up the pitch and score that elusive goal.

Three more goals came in fairly quick succession at the beginning of the second half but the home side did not give up and fought to the end. With some great saves by captain Bradley, the score was kept to the six and could have been a bit more painful.
