Tavistock Hire started without four of their first team players and had to rely on manager Shaun Moloney stepping in to complete the 11.

Tavistock Hire started well and went ahead after five minutes when Dale Mullen shined the ball in from 15 yards.

Woodford drew level with a fine finish from the striker. They then went ahead when a poor back pass from Hire's John Francis was not cleared by the keeper and was tapped into an empty net. Tavistock then took control and equalised through a Dave Wilkinson free kick.

The second half was hampered by heavy rain but it was Tavistock Hire who continued to dominate and went ahead with a cool finish from Des Newton. Newton then sealed the game when a though ball from Wilkinson was slotted home.

Hire finished the season in fifth place and hope to mount a strong title challenge next season.

Tavistock Hire started more strongly and opened the scoring after 20 mins when Sam Saunders broke down the left wing to cross towards Arron Burton only for a Tavistock defender to slide into his own net.

A second came soon after when a corner swung in by Marc Wallace was half cleared to Dave Wilkinson who slammed home from the edge of the area.

Tavistock AFC started to come back but that was ended when Rob Moloney for Hire ran on to a great through ball from Dale Mullins to slide the ball past the keeper. Further goals from Dan Behanna, Rob Moloney and Brad Jones rounded off Hire's win.
