DURING the summer holidays almost 100 local children have been taking part in tennis taster sessions at the Meadows, Tavistock.

Through fun activities and games the children have been practising basic skills and shots and have enjoyed learning the rules of the game. Due to the popularity of the courses, a new regular tennis school will run on a Monday evening from September to encourage beginners and children as young as 5 years old to get involved in the sport and become more active.
