TAVISTOCK were looking for a strong performance to pull them back to the top of the league against East Devon A last Saturday.

Having beaten East Devon away earlier in the season and fielding a strong squad, Tavi were confident in the result but it was not to be.

In a game that was shifting from end to end, it was the visitors that played the more structured and composed game and Tavistock never really settled into their game.

Plenty of chances were had at either end and Tavistock probably had the greater opportunities. East Devon had a very strong keeper and with some fine saves managed to keep a clean sheet.
