TWO riders from Okehampton Cycling Club enjoyed great success in the South West Sporting Time Trial Championship.

Andrew White won the event while his club colleague Josh Coyne was close behind in second place. The event, organised by Mid Cornwall Cycling Club was 16.8 miles around the old A30 below Bodmin in Cornwall.

Josh said: ‘Andrew had a great ride, taking the win on his birthday by 26 seconds. I was really happy with my ride to not be too far off the win with some strong riders in the race.’

Andrew recorded a time of 33 minutes 44 seconds while Josh came home in 39.10.

This was a really good result for BPM Coaching, who coach the two Okehampton riders.
