YOUNG swimmers from Tavistock had a successful day at Parklands Pool in Okehampton on Sunday competing in the Dartmoor Sprint Gala.

The event was organised jointly by Tavistock Swimming Club and Okehampton Otters.

Nathaniel Rookes, a coach from Tavistock Swimming Club said: ‘Swimmers on their continued improvement showing that hard work in training is really worth it. They gained some great personal bests, picking up medals and earning some positive racing experience.’
