IT was a wet miserable Sunday 

morning at Brickfields where Tavistock Ladies seconds met Mannamead. 

As in the previous two weeks of games Tavistock made the better start and were the stronger team from the outset.

Numerous attempts on goal were made by the visitors, however the break through only came from a rebound ball off the goalie and was struck home by Annaliese Wright.

The second half was similar to the first with Tavistock, once again, the stronger team and with the majority of the possession and territory it was not long before another goal went in, with the goal scorer Judy Lowton.

In a match that saw numerous short corners for both teams it was a great run by player of the match Sophie Russell that sealed the win for Tavistock. This was a great solid performance once again by the whole seconds’ team.
