IN an exiting game the match took off at a fast pace with some great play by Tavistock to get Callington on the run after a couple of early goals. By half time the home team were 5-0 up.

Callington came out in the second half with renewed energy and there was some hard fought play in their half, but Tavistock's goalie, Els Mills Hicks, made some excellent saves to keep the score line intact. Tavistock raised their game and started passing well between players to keep Callington under pressure. Two more goals secured the win with a score of 7-0. This was great team effort by Tavistock seconds with excellent goal scoring by Lina, Judy Lowton and Sue Gawman.
