THE wet weather meant it took a while for Okehampton to get warmed up.

The first ten minutes saw the game played end to end, were Oke keeper Daisy Morgan played a vital role and showed her strengths, the opposition keeper was also busy making some crucial saves.

The first half ended in Okehampton having three short corners in quick succession but still the score stayed at 0-0. 

Okehampton came out fighting after half time. With some fast team passing through the middle, it lead Alex Collins to strike the backboard for the first goal.

The defenders were no match for a quick thinking rebound from Rachel Adams. Okehampton kept the pressure on when there was a textbook move from Alex Collins to allow Elsa Frangleton to score.

The opposition had some dangerous breaks but they were nothing the Okehampton defence could not handle.

Rachel Adams created another goal bringing the score to 3-0. After continued pressure from Okehampton’s attack saw and opening which Lucy Wiseman struck home.

Nicky Strawbridge found herself in the right place at the right time scoring the final goal to make it 5-0. 

Zoe Curtis was player of the match for her determined runs and bringing the ball into the D.
