AT Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday the club held its August Individual Medal with members also competing for the Brian Adams Salver (scratch) and the Bill Webber Bowl (handicap).
The winner of the Brian Adams Salver for the best scratch score was Kevin Cornwall with a gross 70. Adrian Raymond won the Bill Webber Bowl for the lowest nett score of 62.
Winner of division one was John Flavin with a nett 63.
Second was Alan Stokes with a nett 64 and in third place Kevin Cornwall with a nett 66, also winning the salver for the best gross score.
Division two winner was Brian Fishleigh nett 65 winning on the back nine from Richard Prouse in second place, third was Alan Jones with a nett 67.
Division three and Bill Webber Bowl winner was Adrian Raymond with a nett 62. In second place was Steve Tonge with a nett 64 and in third place Reg Prescott with a nett 68.
On Tuesday and Wednesday the Okehampton ladies' section competed for the club championship over 36 holes.
The overall winner was Abby Turner with a gross 157, second was Marcia Guy with 166 and third was Penny Deakin with 170.
The winner of the salver for best net score was Cherry James with 139, second was Sue Stanbury with 143 and third was Pam Jarman with 144.
The winner of the Vick Rosebowl played on Wednesday was Janice Thwaites with 36 points, second was Anne Brokenbrow with 36pts and third was Anne Court with 32pts.
