Darren Evans, 44, from Tavistock, added to his fundraising total for Parkinson’s UK when he ran the London Marathon.
Darren completed the 26.2 mile challenge in 2 hours and 56 minutes on the last day of Parkinson’s Awareness Week.
Darren joined a 230-strong team of runners of all abilities who chose to support Parkinson’s UK.
So far, through various fundraising efforts, Darren and his family have raised more than £6,500 for the charity as his dad is living with the disease.
Parkinson’s UK hopes to raise over £320,000 from the event so it can continue with its vital research work to find a cure and improve the lives of the 127,000 people in the UK who are living with Parkinson’s.
