ON a bright, sunny afternoon at their Oaklands ground, playing in near perfect conditions, the Okehampton second XV put on a fine display of running rugby on Saturday to record a magnificent victory over league rivals Brixham.

A bright start saw the Okehampton team capitalise on a large amount of possession to score freely throughout the game. To their credit the Brixham team did not give up and gained a consolation try late in the second half.

This victory continues the great form of the second XV this season, riding high in the Merit Table and, at this showing, on course to win it.
