TAVISTOCK Rotary Club is pleased to announce that the Carnival Week ladies' and gents' five mile races, together with a 1.2 mile junior fun run, will take place on Sunday, starting at 10am and for the ladies' event, 10.10am for the juniors and 11am for the gents at the West Devon Borough Council offices, Kilworthy Park, Tavistock.

Last year's races were cancelled due to a rock fall on the old railway line walk. This has now been cleared and West Devon Borough Council is happy for the event to take place.

Kathryn Hayman from Tavistock Sports Massage will be carrying out pre and post race massage. The event is sponsored by The Bedford Hotel. All proceeds will be donated to the local charities.

Registration forms can be obtained in advance from Tavistock Rotary Club, or on the day of the race.
