IT was a scorching hot day on Sunday for the five mile Rotary Run in Tavistock with races for the men, women and a 1.2 mile run for the youngsters.

Despite the heat all the runners did exceptionally well in the annual races which are part of the Tavistock Carnival, which started and ended at Kilworthy Park.

The Rotary Club of Tavistock thank Active Sport, the Bedford Hotel and Mainly Stationery for their support.
