THE Spooners and West Dartmoor hosts the first of two point-to-point horse racing fixtures to be held over the Easter weekend, with their meeting taking place on Saturday at Cherrybrook, near Tavistock.

They have six races on offer, including a competitive mixed open in which entries include prolific winning mare Lucette Annie and Hunter Chase winner Double Bank. Also the Exeter Racecourse Intermediate race, which is a qualifier for the Connolly's Red Mills Intermediate Championship final Hunter Chase to be at Cheltenham on April 29.

The second of the Point-to-Point meetings over the weekend takes place at Trebudannon, near St Columb Major where the Fourburrow host their event on Bank Holiday Monday.
