TWO Old Kelleian hockey teams returned to Tavistock for the annual match against Kelly College's first and second XI hockey teams.

Kelly seconds face an Old Kelleian team of significantly more experience. The match proved to be an exciting encounter featuring plenty of drama and end-to-end action.

Josh Walker and Josh Kappes worked well up front for the seconds and stretched the Old Kelleians. Tom Wheeler and Taylor Ryan made some strong tackles; however, the Old Kelleian's guile and experience eventually paved the way for an Old Kelleian opening goal they went on to win 3-1.

Kelly first XI took to the pitch against the Old Kelleian first XI.

Captain Jonty Newton galvanized the team to produce an almost relentless wave of attacks. However, as tireless as their offense was, the Old Kelleians defence proved equally robust.

Kelly's defence was stretched and goalkeeper Alex Boswell made some great saves. The Old Kelleians again emerged victorious, 3-2.
