OKEHAMPTON went into this game off the back of a solid away win and looked to get revenge for the heavy defeat Bodmin dished out to them earlier in the season. Oke looked very positive from the start with great link up play and working the press effectively.

The Oke defence were solid, breaking down any attempt of an attack from the away side, which helped for quick counter attacks.

After a number of chances missed, the Oke side won a short corner and Parsons slotted home off a slight deflection off. Oke were then forced to hold off many attacks. This pressure, however, resulted in short corners. From one of these the ball was stopped on the line by Whalley with his foot resulting in a penalty flick, which they slotted home as the first half ended 1-1.

From push back the Oke side looked rejuvenated and started to pressurise once again. This resulted in another goal for Parsons taking Oke 2-1 up. The home side were hungry for more and with every pass they looked more and more confident. As the game progressed Bodmin tired and their attacks started to look lacklustre and from this Oke were able to create a lot of counter attacks. From one of these, man of the match Leon Oxenham was able to slot home his first goal for Oke to make it 3-1.
