THIS season Oke Hockey Club received a grant from Sport England to encourage 14-18 year-olds to play competitive hockey in the development teams.  

The grant has provided team shirts and goal keeping kit as well as coaching equipment, coaching courses and coaching sessions specifically for this age group.

Oke men’s (pictured above) and ladies’ (left) development teams, who played teams from Teign Hockey Club on Sunday. 

All the hard work from the players and coaches was rewarded on Sunday when both teams won their games 2-0.
