OKEHAMPTON Hockey Club hosted the the England Hockey U14s development league day, which was sponsored by Okeford Veterinary Centre.

Okehampton girls U14s were joined by teams from Yeovil and Sherbourne and one from East Culm Valley Hornets. 

Despite very wet conditions the Oke girls played very well. 

They lost their first game 5-1 but had adjusted to the conditions for their second game against Hornets which they won 5-0. 

Goalscorers for Oke were captain Rachel Adams, Annebelle Rademaker  and Larissa Goodger but it was an excellent team performance.
