STUDENTS of the Southern Shotokan Karate Association undertook a grading session at the newly opened Tavistock club last Saturday.
The club opened its doors at the United Reformed Church a few months ago and meet every Tuesday at 5.45pm.
Shotokan karate promotes fitness and strength of character as well as teaching traditional karate skills.
The club is actively seeking new members, irrespective of age or disability. No experience is necessary.
