The Burrator Horseshoe Run took place on Saturday and drew a field of nearly 190 runners.
The run is a scenic, challenging moorland run, starting and finishing at Meavy Village Green.
The winner was Neil Holmes of Erme Valley Harriers in a time of 42 minutes 47 seconds with Okehampton Running Club's Andrew Vallance in second place in 43.40. James Best of Tavistock Athletic Club was 12th in 48.38.
The run is part of the Meavy Oak Fair, a traditional village green fair held annually.
