TAVISTOCK made a strong start with an attempt on goal within the first minute of the game and this carried on for the first half.

The home side were the dominant team throughout and it was only the Old Plymouth Mannameadians’ goalie that stopped numerous goals being scored.

Finally a frustrated Tavistock broke the deadlock and a goal was scored by Chezzie Moore.

In the second half OPM played a much more attacking game, however Tavistock were still the stronger team and the second goal was soon scored by Lois Thornton.

OPM again went on the attack and despite Tavistock working hard to keep a clean sheet they netted to make the final score 2-1 to the red and blacks.

Player of the match was Tavistock’s Katie Birchell.
