Okehampton Argyle U16s 3

OKEHAMPTON travelled to Brixington for their first league match in nearly three months.

Argyle settled back well and there was some good passing among the team.  Ross Voaden stood out as committed throughout and helped keep the game under Oke's control.  Tom Stanbury opened the scoring for Okehampton following some great teamwork. 

With the score 1-0 at half time in Okehampton's favour, they came out fighting for the second half but the home side scored from a quick corner after 10 minutes.

Argyle were quick to respond with Oli Crimmins scoring a superb goal that curled in from long range and this was followed by a great goal on target from Josh Stanbury.

Unfortunately Okehampton lost concentration for a few moments and their lead was snatched from them as Brixington scored two quick goals to equalise.

This was a good team performance from Argyle with outstanding performances from Ryan Gross, Ben Bickle, Ben Barkwill and Ross Voaden who held the team together to maintain their position at the top of the league.
