KELLY College Swim Squad took part in the ASA South West Regional Championships at the Life Centre in Plymouth and won 17medals - six gold, four silver and seven bronze with more than 30 personal best performances.
Ellen Keane (17) swimming in the S9 disability category, won gold in all her events - 200m individual medley, 100m and 200m breaststroke, 100m fly and 50m breaststroke - the latter being in a personal best time.
Oliver Willis (17) produced a national qualifying performance on his way to winning gold in the 200m backstroke. Ollie also took silver in the 50m backstroke and bronze in the 200m individual medley.
Charlie Bayliss (18) swam to silver in the 200m butterfly, with Matthew Courtis (17) taking the bronze medal. Matthew also took bronze in the 400m individual medley.
David Colley (16) won silver in the 200m breaststroke and bronze in the 1500m freestyle.
Sophie Hastings (14) and Nikita Ivanov (15) both won bronze, Sophie in the 100m fly and Nikita in the 100m freestyle.
Kelly College Swim Squad qualified for the ASA National Youth Championships in the boys 4 x 100m freestyle relay, the 4 x 200m freestyle relay (silver medal) and the 4 x 100m medley relay. Representing Kelly in these events were Matthew Courtis, Ollie Willis, Joe Voller, Charlie Bayliss, George Humphrey and Nikita Ivanov.
