THIS was a great game of rugby played hard but fair by two talented teams.

The Oaks started strongly in the forwards with some skillful offloading on the hoof and deserved an early try.

This stung Tavistock into action as their pack reaped dividends from their fitness work. Callum Cunningham looked sharp around the fringes with Paul Bragg flying high in the lineout. Tavistock backs used the ball superbly with some crisp handling and dynamic running.

Jack Base had a superb game linking with captain Charlie Fethney and Will Paul.

This was a closer game than the score suggests, as Plymstock never gave up.
