YELVERTON Golf Club juniors took to the golf course this week, all trying to take the next step in their ‘Golf Access’ development.

This is a system not unlike martial arts, where ability is rewarded by a colour banded system. All the juniors did extremely well, with Tia Kowalski achieving the highest wrist band colour to be awarded, that of platinum. Younger sister India Kowalski, not to be outdone, achieved her goal of an aqua band. Riley Rowe was also on the aqua trail while Max Gardner was awarded his maroon and Kia Bostick came in with a great score to achieve his navy band.

Taking this stepping stone enables beginner golfers to be better equipped for the 18 hole challenge.
