ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club a four ball better ball Stableford competition was held with both scores to count on the par threes.

There was anticipation in the club house at the end of play when the final results were announced as the top four pairs all scored 40 points.

The eventual winners after count back were Jay Carroll and Peter Howell; second place went to Reg Prescott and Malcolm Hooper, in third were Martyn Cox and Mark Curtis and fourth position was taken by John Haley and Paul Douglas.
