YOUNG Tavistock golfers took part in a competition in honour of a former junior at Tavistock Golf Club.

The Simon Gilder Cup was an 18 hole medal, played off the white tees.

Callum Watkin won the cup when he shot a nett 63 to edge out, in second place, Emma Greening with a nett 70 . Third place went to George Bumford with a nett 77,
