ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club a three ball, two to count, Stableford competition for the Wilson Shield was held.

The winners with 83 points were Paul Prouse, Ian Moore and Steve Peake. In second were Jack Cornwall, Colin Cornwall and Kevin Cornwall with 82pts followed into third place by Malcolm Hooper, Rob Green and Richard Prouse with 81pts. On Wednesday the ladies played an individual Stableford and the winner was Maggie Caws with 34pts. Marcia Collett was second with 33pts and Cherry James took third place with 32pts.

On March 23 at 10am the ladies will be holding their annual fashion show and coffee morning at the golf club – everyone is welcome.
