OKEHAMPTON Golf Club held a non-qualifying Stableford competition on November 21.

The winner of division one was Kevin Cornwall with 40 points after count back from Phil Atherton also with 40 points. In third place was Paul Douglas with 39 points and Malcolm Hooper was fourth with 38 points.

Division two was won by Bryan Evans with 43 points closely followed into second by Geoff Fidler with 42 points. Steven Robinson took third place and Matthew Parry was fourth with 39 points.

Reggie Wonnacott took the top slot in division three with 39 points and Brian May took second with 37 points. John Latham was third with 35 points and Andrew Rogers fourth with 34 points.

YELVERTON Golf Club veterans’ section held their weekly three ball Stableford competition on November 18.

First place with 73 points were Ric Cheadle, Les Trace and Alan Malton.

Second on 69pts were Roger Mechan, Ray J Bennett and Keith Clench; third equal with 68pts were David Harris, Dennis Voisin and Des Palmer along with Jack Bovingdon, David Coombs and David Miles.
