LAST month 16 year-old Peter Howell of Exeter Golf Academy and Okehampton Golf Club represented the South West region at the National Golf finals played at Morley Hayes Golf Club, near Nottingham.

Peter, along with his team-mate Bradley Scott of Tiverton came second overall to win the silver medal.

The medal play took place over two days in glorious sunshine and some excellent golf was played by the South West team.
