ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club in amazing conditions an individual Stableford competition for the Kennard Winter Trophy was played.

The winner of division one and the trophy was Rob Green with 43 points. Ricky Wooldridge was second with 40pts placing Chris Pike in third with 39pts after countback from, in fourth John Flavin.

Division two was won by Alan Lawson with 42pts, Fred Cooke was second with 40pts and Lee Pengelly third with 39pts.

The winner of division three with 40pts was Sam Evans, in second place with a better back nine was Steve Squires with 38pts putting David Stallion into third.

The ladies’ section also played a Stableford competition and the winner of the silver division was Sue Williams with 34pts, Sue Stanbury was second after countback from, in third Marcia Collett also with 33pts.

The bronze division was won by Elaine Marwood with 33pts, Janice Thwaites was second with 31pts with Jane Warren taking third with 30pts.
