IN stunning autumnal conditions on Saturday, Okehampton Golf Club held a four ball better ball Stableford competiton for the Winter Trophy.

The winners of division one and the Winter Trophy were Paul Rattenbury and Sam Woollacott with 44 points after countback on the back three from Alan Stokes and Rob Green in second.

Third position went to Bob Collett and Jay Carroll with 43pts on the back nine putting Rod Wright and Trevor Parker into fourth place.

Division two was won by Richard Goodger and Steve Pike with 43 pts closely followed into second by Steve Browne and Brian May on the same total.

Brothers John and Steve Latham were third with 42pts after countback from, in fourth, Mike Hern and Paul Ayris
