SATURDAY saw the Macleod Cup and Burd Medal contested in fabulous sunny conditions at Okehampton Golf Club.

The winner of the Scratch Macleod Cup was Del Owen with the best gross of the day, 71.

Jay Carroll won the Burd Medal with a nett 61. Winner of division one was Rod Wright with nett 62; in second place was Del Owen nett 64, with Malcolm Hill in third place with nett 68 just ahead on the back nine from Gareth Holt in fourth.

The winner of division two and the Burd Medal was Jay Carroll nett 61; second place went to Alan Lawson nett 68; Richard Goodger was in third place with nett 69.

The winner of division three was Rob Green with nett 62; John Halliday was in second place with nett 63; third went to Ben Ford with nett 65.
