ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club a four ball better ball Stableford competition was held.

There was a close battle for first position in division one with the top three pairs all achieving 42 points.

After countback, first place went to Mark Wonnacott and Martin O’Connor.

In second were Keith Harvey and Alan Lawson and in third were Alan Hawking and Kevin Pedrick.

Division two was won by Alan Grimshaw and Mike Davis with 41pts; Richard Goodger and Mike Charlesworth were second with 40pts on the back nine from, in third, Pete Grant and David Stanbury.
